We have never been to the festivities, but we do participate. As a family we go around our neighborhood with gloves on and trash bags in hand and we pick up all of the trash that we see. We took our baby ducks to the brook for a swim - what a joyful experience. Went to Boston today for a daytrip and couldn't wait to get home to our house in the country. I do love my new cloth bags for groceries and can't believe I haven't done this sooner.
